Tribunal initiates expiry review of anti-dumping duties on wheat gluten from six countries
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal initiated an expiry review of its finding made in April 2021 to determine if the expiry of the finding is likely to lead to continued or resumed dumping of wheat gluten from Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and Lithuania and is likely to result in injury to the domestic industry.
In the first step of the review the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will determine, by July 30, 2026, if there is a likelihood of resumed or continued dumping.
In the event of a positive determination, the Tribunal will determine, no later than January 6, 2027, whether the continued or resumed dumping is likely to result in injury to the domestic industry.
