Tribunal initiates expiry review of anti-dumping duties on heavy plate from Chinese Taipei and Germany
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal initiated an expiry review of its finding made 1n February 2021 to determine if the expiry of the finding is likely to lead to continued or resumed dumping of heavy plate from Chinese Taipei and Germany and is likely to result in injury to the domestic industry.
In the first step of the review the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will determine, by June 4, 2026 if there is a likelihood of resumed or continued dumping.
In the event of a positive determination, the Tribunal will determine, no later than November 10, 2026, whether the continued or resumed dumping is likely to result in injury to the domestic industry.
