CBSA issues dumping determination on steel strapping from four countries
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced it made preliminary determinations of dumping respecting steel strapping originating in or exported from the China, the Republic of Korea, Türkiye and Vietnam and the subsidizing of steel strapping originating in or exported from China.
Provisional duties at rates ranging from 2.3% to 48.8% will now be payable on the subject goods that are released from the CBSA on or after September 16, 2025.
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) will now formally determine if the dumping and subsidising are causing prejudice to Canadian industry.
