Tribunal initiates review of expiry of anti-dumping duties on certain steel sheet from Türkiye and Vietnam
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) initiated an expiry review of its finding made in November 2020 to determine if the expiry of the finding is likely to lead to continued or resumed dumping of corrosion-resistant steel sheet from Türkiye and Vietnam and subsidizing from Türkiye, and if this would likely result in injury to Canadian industry.
In the first step of the review the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will determine, by February 6, 2026, if there is a likelihood of resumed or continued dumping or subsidizing if the Tribunal's order is left to expire.
In the event of a positive determination by the CBSA the Tribunal will determine, by July 16, 2026, whether the continued or resumed dumping or subsidizing is likely to result in injury to the domestic industry.
