The CARM portal is now at the disposal of importers
It is now possible for importers to access the CARM client portal, a project by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). Create your client account here :
What is the CARM portal?
The CBSA Assement and Revenue Management (CARM) will give you a simple access, online and at any time to all your transactions with the border services. With your registration, you will have access to a variety of functions like :

Manage freely your payments and view your statement of account

The ability to delegate the access to your company account to a custom broker or a business consultant
-
Submit appeals, ruling requests and follow their progress
New functionalities will become available in phase 2 of the CARM project, due for spring 2022. Among those changes, you will find :

Access to the client portal for every partner in the business community

The possibility to make electronic submissions to correct and adjust your declarations

Replacement of various forms
-
New billing cycle
-
Changes in release requirements and bonds
Registration to the CARM client portal will be mandatory in May 2022 when phase 2 will be implemented for transactions with the CBSA.
