Tribunal finds dumping of steel sheet from four countries threatens Canadian industry

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced on February 21, 2019 its finding that the dumping of certain corrosion-resistant flat-rolled steel sheet originating in or exported from China, Chinese Taipei, India and South Korea has not caused injury but is threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry.

Anti-dumping duties will therefore be collected by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) on importations of these goods.

The Tribunal's inquiry and finding follow the issuance by the President of the CBSA of a final determination dated January 22, 2019 to the effect that the above-mentioned goods have been dumped.
